How does the sizing work for the Baby Ktan Baby Carrier?
A:
The sizing is to fit the parent carrying the child. Age or weight of child is not a factor in sizing.
Sizing Chart:
Carrier Size: XS S M L XL
Women Dress Size: 0-4 6-8 10-12 14-16 18-22
Men suit jacket size: NA Up to 38 39-42 43-46 47-50
If you are 5'4" or under: CHOOSE SMALLER SIZE

If you fall in between sizes on the above sizing chart, CHOOSE SMALLER SIZE.
If you are Petite - 5'4" or under - CHOOSE SMALLER SIZE
If you are pregnant, use pre-pregnancy size to determine appropriate carrier size. Carrier size generally corresponds to pre-pregnancy fitted (tight) tshirt size.
Only choose larger size if you are 6 feet or taller.
Trying on the carrier (without child inside) - The lowest point of the carrier should fall just below your chest and above your navel. When wearing your child in the carrier, the lowest point of the carrier may fall at your navel or waist, but should not fall below your hips.
When carrying child in carrier- if the lowest point of the carrier falls at or below your hips, choose a smaller size; if the lowest parpoint of the carrier falls at your chest, choose a larger size.
If the carrier feels to losse when carrying your child in it (i.e, child feels insecure, legs are bumping childs body as you walk, or carrier easily slips off your shoulder), choose a smaller size.
There are 8 different positions that you can carry your child in as they grow older , so need to buy a larger size as your child grows older.

There are only a few things that we ask of you in return:- *If you are having problems with your sling, Contact us to ask for assistance before asking for a refund. More often then not, the problem can be fixed with a little adjusting, rethreading or repositioning. *Please continue to try your sling for a period of 2 weeks at different times of the day when bub is in different moods. Your baby may respond better at different times of the day. *If you know someone else with a sling, ask them for some help. *If you are in Townsville, please Contact me, as I will be more then happy to help you use your sling to its full potential. If you have tried everything in the 2 weeks, and still have not had any success, please contact Kim via the Contact page to discuss returning your sling.
There are a few conditions for returning your sling:- *A refund or exchange will only be given within 2 weeks of the original purchase date. *It needs to be in as new condition with no obvious wear, stains or tears. *It must be returned will all original documentation. *You must pay for postage to return it to us. *If you are exchanging for another product, we will happily pay for postage back to you.
We do understand that buying a product over the internet is not as 'wholesome' as purchasing in a shop. You can't feel the product, or try it on for size. Postage - Our $7.50 postage rate only applies to orders within Australia. Express Post is also available for an extra charge of $0.50 PER PARCEL. There is a Express post add on in each product, you only need to add on one of these to your total order, not each item.
We are happy to post overseas, however please email us to obtain a postal quote before placing your order. When ordering you need to wait for an updated invoice with correct postage amount added.
